Superman Costume Collection Pulled From Upcoming ‘Morphy Auctions’ Sale Event
Earlier this month, Morphy Auctions listed a large collection of more than a dozen Superman-related principal costume and wardrobe pieces in their online catalog for their late February 2010 sale event. As was the case with an unrelated auction last year (see Philip Weiss Auctions Cancels “Special Superhero Weekend”), it would appear that all items have been pulled from their upcoming sale. Christie’s, CBS, Paramount Prevail in ‘Star Trek’ Memorabilia Auction Lawsuit
Two years after making the rounds as a lead story in the mainstream media, the Associated Press today reports that the Supreme Court of New York’s Appellate Division ruled that a Star Trek fan does not deserve $7 million dollars in damages as a result being displeased with one of the three items won at the “40 Years of Star Trek” auction held by Christie’s.
