Sotheby’s “Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams” Auction on October 4th
The catalog for Sotheby’s “Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams” auction is now online, featuring over 300 items from his lift and career, and time with his second wife, Marsha Williams. In addition to entertainment memorabilia is art (particularly a lot of street art), decorative art, furniture, watches and more. A portion of the proceeds is intended to benefit Human Rights Watch, the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, Challenged Athletes Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and Wounded Warrior Project, as well as to help fund a scholarship at The Juilliard School in New York. An exhibit in Los Angeles is running through September 14th with a follow up in New York from September 29th through October 3rd. The auction will take place in New York on October 4th. [Read more…]
