The Experience Music Project has organized an exhibition called “AVATR: The Exhibition”, which will be held at the Science Fiction Museum in Seattle from June 4th through September 3rd. Per the official site, this was created with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment, and “will feature authentic props and costumes, interactive displays, concept models, and sketches from the blockbuster film”. I did not learn of this auction promoted by Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers until now, which appears to have taken place on 03/27/2011 Australia time (yesterday). While the title of the auction is “Costumes & Props from Major Fantasy Movie”, there is a page on their official website with photos entitled “Narnia”. A news article by Gold Coast News reports that the material sold was from The Chronicles of Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Trader. [Read more…]
