Below is the latest updated calendar for upcoming original movie and television prop, wardrobe, and memorabilia auction events. Please contact me if you are aware of any coming events of interest to collectors. Please also note that I update changes/additions to the calendar until the next update, in order to maintain as up to date as possible. As a side note (it has been a while since I’ve published a calendar update), the COVID-19 circumstances has shut down much of the industry. This level of inactivity is really unprecedented since I started following the marketplace with the Original Prop Blog. [Read more…]

San Diego Comic-Con 2019: Warner Bros | DC Comics | Batman
This is part of my ongoing coverage of San Diego Comic-Con 2019. This is the first year that there was not separate exhibit space for both Warner Bros and DC Comics. Sadly, while comic books used to be the primary business for Marvel and DC when I was growing up, it’s now likely to continue to shrink and may eventually go away altogether. In any event, the Warner Bros booth had some original costumes from Batman films on display (with more on display at the Comic-Con Museum (which is off site, so I did not attend) [Read more…]
