Bonhams is holding their next set of Turner Classic Movies curated auction events this week, starting with their “The Estate of Maureen O’Hara” on November 29th and “Lights, Camera, Auction!” on November 30th. Both sales will be held in New York, with online bidding available. [Read more…]
ScreenUsed is holding their next quarterly live auction on Saturday, December 10th. The company will with this auction begin to host their events on their own website (rather than third-party services like LiveAuctioneers and iCollector). Additionally, back in September they began to host “Timed Daily Auctions”, with 15 new items every weekday.
Julien’s Auctions’ “The Marilyn Monroe Auction” will be held on November 17th, 18th, & 19th at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles. Included in the three-day auction is Marilyn Monroe Property From The Collection of David Gainsborough-Roberts, Marilyn Monroe Property From The Estate of Lee Strasberg and Déjà vu Property From The Life and Career of Marilyn Monroe. ScreenUsed is holding their next two-day, quarterly live auction on Friday, July 15th and Saturday, July 16th. Day 1 lots will end in the automated online auction every 1 minute (with extension if bids placed toward the end). Day 2 will include the higher end material and the auction will be run manually.
