This is part of my ongoing coverage of San Diego Comic-Con 2019. Marvel is centrally located in the Exhibit Hall as per usual, and they’re updated the props and costumes on display daily. This feature covers Wednesday (i.e. “Preview Night”) and Thursday. The photos further below are as the exhibit appeared on Wednesday, which featured costumes from Captain Marvel. New Original Prop Blog YouTube Channel – Introduction & Overview
This is the first in a new series of videos that I will be publishing on YouTube, to supplement the ongoing content on the Original Prop Blog. I have in the past published the occasional video on YouTube, but I saw the platform more as a place to host videos rather than as a “channel” per se, so mixed among content intended for the Original Prop Blog were other videos that had nothing to do with the Original Prop Blog. So this is a brand new channel going forward, and my hope and intentions are to use the video format more regularly in order to produce some different content than what has been the norm. San Diego Comic-Con 2018: Editorial & General Photography
So I’ve been attending San Diego Comic Con since 1987 (when I was 14 years old), so I have a lot of history with the world’s most famous annual pop culture gathering. Some years are better than others, though for several years running it has, from a subjective standpoint, felt like it was overall in decline (weighing the positives and negatives). This is part of my ongoing coverage of San Diego Comic-Con 2018. Marvel is centrally located in the Exhibit Hall as per usual, and they’ve updated the props and costumes on display daily. This feature will cover both Saturday and Sunday.
