In the continuing coverage of original props, costumes, and other film and television assets on display at Comic Con 2012 in San Diego. This article features an impressive outdoor exhibit arranged by Warner Bros. and Comic Con, showcasing the Batmobiles from the 1966 Adam West film to the latest Christopher Nolan film being released in theaters later this month.
Like Marvel Comics, DC Comics brought some original costumes to display. With this event, they put The Comedian and the Snow Owl costumes from Watchmen, and the Arrow costume from the upcoming TV series along with the Deathstroke mask from the same. [Read more…]

As has been tradition, Marvel Comics and their exhibit space is built around an upcoming film, and this year they celebrate Iron Man 3, with costumes featuring a variety of different versions of the Iron Man costume. Additionally, today, was an added prop up front from The Avengers. [Read more…]
2012 is Prop Store’s fifth year exhibiting at Comic Con in San Diego, and they continue to improve on their visually pleasing presentation and wide ranging original props and costumes on display. This year, the centerpiece holding the front corner spot is John Hurt’s spacesuit from Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979). Julien’s Auctions has published the online catalog for their upcoming sale – “Sports Legends and Music Icons”, which will be held at their Beverly Hills gallery on Saturday, June 23rd for Sports and Sunday, June 24th for Music. While focused on sports and music, included within is some film and television used material.
Tomorrow, March 30th, a fundraising event will be held for “Arizona’s Little Hollywood Foundation”, a 501(c)(3), which was started by Joe McNeill, with the hope of creating a museum in Sedona, AZ that would put his 4,000 artifact collection on public display. This event will include an exhibition of artifacts at Talk of the Town in Uptown Sedona. [Read more…]
