The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) will be presenting their “19th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design” annual costume exhibit, featuring more than 100 original costumes from more than 20 films released in 2010, including pieces from Shutter Island designed by Sandy Powell, Alice in Wonderland by designer Colleen Atwood, and The Wolfman by designer Milena Canonero. As noted over the past few days from links to external stories via the official Twitter account for the Original Prop Blog, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art will be holding their ‘Sketch to Screen: Art of Hollywood Costume Design’ exhibit from May 6 through August 15, 2010.
