San Diego Comic Con 2012: Event Recap & My Personal Experience
As explained in past articles and coverage, my experience with San Diego Comic Con (or Comic Con International) goes back to the late 80s, as I started attending around 1986 or 1987 or so (several years before I was even old enough to drive). San Diego Comic Con 2012: Batmobiles from Six Different Batman Movies On Display
In the continuing coverage of original props, costumes, and other film and television assets on display at Comic Con 2012 in San Diego. This article features an impressive outdoor exhibit arranged by Warner Bros. and Comic Con, showcasing the Batmobiles from the 1966 Adam West film to the latest Christopher Nolan film being released in theaters later this month.

Congratulations to Tom Spina Designs on ‘The Dog Strikes Back’ 2012 Volkswagen Game Day Commercial (Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina Creatures)
I just wanted to give a public congratulations to my friend Tom Spina and all his cohorts over at Tom Spina Designs for their outstanding work on the new Star Wars themed commercial produced for the Superbowl this month. The ad, “The Dog Strikes Back: 2012 Volkswagen Game Day Commercial” features a cut to a stunning recreation of the A New Hope Mos Eisley Cantina, with creature masks, prosthetics, and some costumes made by the Tom Spina Designs team (10 aliens in total).
