I had heard about this auction from multiple sources going back to earlier this year, so I’m glad to see that it’s finally been officially announced. The Christie’s sale, in conjunction with EON Productions, has been titled “50 Years of James Bond – The Auction”. Given that choice Bond pieces have realized extraordinarily high prices in recent years, particularly those sales held in England, I expect that this will be a fascinating auction to watch. Charity Auction: Auction Cause Offers Original Props from “Survivor One World” on eBay
As per tradition, as Survivor: One World finished its season on CBS last night, Auction Cause launched an auction on eBay for original assets from the popular reality television series. With this round of auctions, also included is material from past seasons, under the banner of “Vintage Survivor“. As is the case with each season, 100% of the final sale price for the items will benefit charity, with this sale benefiting two organizations – Survivor Stand Up To Cancer and The Alliance for Children’s Rights.

Charles “Chuck” Palahniuk, journalist and Fight Club novelist, has donated one of the original “ying yang” table set pieces that was used and featured in David Fincher’s film version of his award-winning book. The auction for the table started on eBay today, with proceeds benefiting The Pixie Project, a non-profit organization in Portland, Oregon that provides animal adoption and other related services.
