Autograph Anti-Fraud Legislation (California Assembly Bill AB 1570) Now Law
Back in January, I wrote about Mark Hamill & Assemblywoman Ling Ling Chang’s efforts to pass autograph anti-fraud legislation in California in the form of Assembly Bill AB 1570. California Governor Jerry Brown signed this into law last month. While I applauded the intention and efforts behind the proposed law back in January, I outlined a series of issues with it. Prop Store Catalog Now Available & Live Bidding Open for Their Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction on September 27th
The print and online catalogs are now available, and online bidding is now live for Prop Store’s third annual Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction. It will be held at the Odeon BFI IMAX in Waterloo, London on September 27th. The live event features more than 579 lots of props, costumes and other film and television memorabilia. There will be a free two week long exhibition at the London ODEON BFI IMAX from September 14th through the 27th. [Read more…]

San Diego Comic-Con 2016: Star Wars “Rogue One” Costume Exhibit (#SDCC #RogueOne #StarWars)
This is part of my ongoing coverage of San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Disney had scheduled their Star Wars Celebration convention event to be held in London the week leading up to SDCC, but they still put together an impressive collection of original costumes together for exhibit at San Diego Comic Con at their official booth. San Diego Comic-Con 2016: DC Costume Exhibit Part 2 of 2 “Wonder Woman” (#SDCC #WonderWoman)
This is part of my ongoing coverage of San Diego Comic-Con 2016. As has been tradition in recent years, DC had a number of original production costumes from upcoming super hero movies on display in hard cases. Featured this year were costumes from the soon to be released Suicide Squad as well as next year’s Wonder Woman.
