Julien’s Auctions is pleased to present a timed, online-only auction that will run from now through Sunday, April 9, 2017. The auction has over 450 lots of entertainment memorabilia ranging from Golden Hollywood to New, and 1950s Rock n’ Roll through to today.
Collectors will have the opportunity to bid on a wide range of items including property from the Estate of Frank Sinatra Jr., early Bob Mackie designs worn by dancer and actress Barrie Chase, personal items originally from the Collection of Barbra Streisand, a large collection of decorative arts from the Estate of Frank and Gail Zappa, Ann Wilson of Heart’s wardrobe, a collection of contemporary and vintage costumes from an avid Hollywood collector, and items from the Estate of John Travolta’s assistant Joan Edwards.
Highlights in this sale include a custom made Rudi Gernreich jumpsuit worn by Barrie Chase while dancing with Fred Astaire in Hollywood Palace ($600-$800), a Pertegaz couture gown worn by Chase to the premiere of It’s a Mad Mad Mad World ($800-$1,200), Ella Fitzgerald’s worn Don Loper gown ($300-$500), Judy Dench’s Chocolat dress ($300-$500), Ansel Adams vintage photographs ($1,000-$2,000 each), Frank Zappa’s equipment and drum set ($800-$1,200 each), Ann Wilson’s stage jackets ($300-$500 each) and many others.
