Online auction company IfOnly has a special charity offering running for two weeks – one of the original “Han Solo” production jackets worn by Harrison Ford in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, including a certificate of authenticity from Lucasfilm. Proceeds from the sale of the rare wardrobe piece will benefit NYU Langone Center and FACES (Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures).
Below are the official details about the auction:
Han Solo returned to the Star Wars universe in “The Force Awakens” last December, appearing every bit the scoundrel that fans know and love. The jacket worn by Harrison Ford in the film has been generously donated by the actor to benefit NYU Langone Medical Center and FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures). Very rarely do such iconic items — and one worn by such a beloved character and celebrated actor — come up for auction. This jacket is even more significant as Harrison wore it in his final appearance in a “Star Wars” film. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a very special piece of cinematic history.
