Academy Award winning American filmmaker and special effects legend Joe Johnston has been offering some impressive memorabilia for sale on eBay in recent months, with auctions being held by a friend of his under the account mojo1316. Some of the material offered at auction include props and artwork from Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Rocketeer, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Captain America, Star Wars, Jumanji, and more.
The seller acting on behalf of Joe Johnston including the following information as supplement to a recent auction offering a piece of C-3PO’s left hand from Star Wars: A New Hope:
1) This item is directly from Joe Johnston’s collection. I am selling the item for him. We are best friends. I haven’t “acquired” anything. This piece belongs to Joe, and I am selling it for him.
2) The winner of this auction will receive a COA from Joe Johnston with a summary of the item, guarantee of its authenticity and statement that it’s from his personal collection (signed and dated).
*The winner will also receive a photo of Joe holding the item and signing the COA.
