Julien’s Auctions next entertainment memorabilia auction will be held in Beverly Hills May 7th & 8th. As is usual with their large Summer sale, props and costumes from a variety of modern and classic film and television are included, with highlights among those “legends” referenced in the title of the event.
The sale includes a variety of material including movie and television props, wardrobe, photos, posters, autographs, animation art, scripts, and personally owned items.

Included in the sale is 120 lots from the NBC Universal television series, Heroes, which broadcast four seasons between Fall 2006 through early 2010.
Also featured in the catalog are original assets from the short-lived NBC Universal series, The Cape, which aired only 10 episodes, with the finale shown only on the network website due to low ratings. Including among the offerings is the full costume worn by the title character of the series.
Session I is rounded out with material from popular science fiction and action franchises like Planet of the Apes, Gremlins, Conan the Barbarian, Terminator 2, Batman, Indiana Jones, and other franchises.
Session II is dominated by classic Hollywood fare, representing favorites such as Marilyn Monroe, Mary Pickford, Marlene Dietrich, Gloria Swanson, and more. Also included is historical material, such as that associated with John F. Kennedy, Queen Victoria, King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II, Diana and Charles, and more.
Session III includes classic television, such as Lucille Ball and the Brady Bunch. Also features are pieces associated with John Wayne, James Dean, Audry Hepburn, Rita Hayworth, Errol Flynn, and others.
Session IV highlights include the work of Norman Rockwell, material from Cleopatra (1963), and a wide assortment of important popular culture artifacts spanning Marlon Brando, Bruce Lee, Johnny Carson, Andy Warhol, Paris Hilton, Heath Ledger, Steven Seagal, and Angelina Jolie, closing out the event with a substantive assortment of lots related to Marilyn Monroe.
As has become expected, the catalog layout and presentation is very impressive, with substantive descriptions and quality photos and screen captures.
