The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra will be presenting another series of concert performances featuring music from the Lord of the Rings trilogy of films. As was the case in 2008, there will be an extensive exhibit of original props and costumes from the movies on display for the benefit of those attending the event.
As reported in September 2008, collector Troika Brodsky has an extensive collection of original material made for and used in the trilogy, and as was the case a few years ago, he is loaning some of the pieces for public display at the series of concert events this coming Friday through Sunday.
Troika participated in a joint interviewed today with Andy Gott from the Symphony by KPLR 11 in St. Louis, and discussed some of the pieces in his collection and collecting original movie memorabilia. The video broadcast can be viewed at www.kplr11.com or in the player below:
