Today Showtime has launched a number of online auctions offering original props from their popular cable television series, “Dexter”. It appears that the minimum bid amount on items is $15, and they are using SeenOn.com as their online auction service provider.
The series is slated to air its fourth season finale on December 13th, and those items offered for sale appear to come from the previous season, including:
- Dexter’s arm cast
- Miguel Prado’s El Royale cigar box
- Dexter and Rita’s ring bearer wedding pillow
- Dexter and Rita’s wedding invitations
- Blood spatter photos
- Large Rattle Syringe
- El Royale Cigar Box
- Bloody Screwdriver
- Crime scene photos
- Sadie’s doughnut boxes
A portion of the proceeds is to be given to the Harlem Children’s Zone:
A portion of the proceeds go to The Harlem Children’s Zone. This is a pioneering non-profit organization that works to enhance the quality of life for children and families through a variety of educational and social programs in Harlem.
The Harlem Children’s Zone has received praise from around the world for its unprecedented success in breaking the cycle of generational poverty for over 10,000 children. HCZ’s unique approach is to create a comprehensive conveyor belt of education and social-service programs in a 97-block area in Central Harlem, supporting poor children from birth through college.
