Christie’s next “Vintage Film Posters and Entertainment Memorabilia” auction (Sale 5872) will be held November 24th at South Kensington, London. The catalog for this event can be viewed online.

This sale includes a total of 454 lots. More than half of the offerings in the sale are posters/one sheets. Also included in the auction are storyboards, concept artwork, Disney and Hollywood memorabilia, illustrations, photographs, industry awards, personal property, props, wardrobe, and other memorabilia and movie and television production material and assets.
As noted in September, the highlight of the sale is one of the original stop-motion armatures from King Kong (1933):
Per Christie’s, an “eVanity” brochure exclusive to this one piece will be made available in the next week.
Also of note is a large number of props, costumes, and other memorabilia from various James Bond films.
