4-Day passes for San Diego Comic-Con International 2010 are already on sale, with the show being held July 21-25. As with the last two years, tickets will not be sold on site and sell out several months in advance.
San Diego Comic Con is generally considered to be “the” pop culture event of the year, with huge attractions and announcements related to film, television, comics, and other fields within fandom.
Registration is available online-only, which can be done at ComicCon.org:

At the close of the 2009 event, there were news reports and rumors speculating that the show would be moved out of San Diego in 2010, possibly to Los Angeles (to accommodate the movie studios that have used the convention to promote their properties); the sale of tickets would seem to indicate that the convention will remain in San Diego at least for another year. In my opinion, any move would be a huge blow to the show, in that the location and atmosphere is both tradition and fundamental to what many attendees love about the event.
