I have archived an assortment of screencaptures/screencaps/stills from the film Superman II in high resolution format to serve as a reference in the ongoing series of articles about costumes in the marketplace attributed to use by Christopher Reeve in the Superman films of the 70s and 80s.
The stills below are from the second film, Superman II, from the now defunct HD DVD format. The purpose of these stills is to highlight the detail of the Christopher Reeve Superman costume as seen in the film. These stills are at the 1920×1080 resolution from the high definition 1080p source. Shortly, I will post similar results from the HD DVD version of Superman: The Movie. Parts III and IV have not been released in either HD DVD or Blu-Ray Disc.
