As reported last week (LINK), an original James Bond tuxedo worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale was one of the memorabilia pieces auctioned in The “Great British Movie Event”, a fundraiser held on June 17, 2008 at the Old Billingsgate in London with proceeds benefiting the National Film and Television School.
Per The Press Association, some of the auction results are as follows:
- A kiss with 007 star Daniel Craig: £19,000 (won by Bond producer Barbara Broccoli
- One of Daniel Craig’s “James Bond” tuxedo’s from Casino Royale: £9,500
- An uncorrected proof of the first Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, signed by JK Rowling: £18,000 (won by Daniel Craig)
- “Walk-on” parts in Working Title’s new romantic comedy Lost for Words: £16,000 (won by Hugh Grant)
The event raised a total of £400,000.
