Today, the status of the the following accounts for sellers associated with the sale of “authentic” and “original” entertainment and historical memorabilia authenticated by “Global Antiques” on eBay show a “NARU” (“Not a Registered User” & “No Longer a Registered User”, depending on the page) status:
“Auction Depot LA” (auctiondepotla) [note: original account]
“Auction Depot LA” (auctiondepotla1) [note: “Global Antiques” selling account]
“Auction Shop USA” (auctionshopusa)
The other remaining account, “Historic Souvenirs” (historicsouvenirs), which canceled the majority of its first set of “Global Antiques” eBay auction listings early, on June 10th (see “Historic Souvenirs” Cancels “Global Antiques” eBay Auctions; “Auction Depot LA” Update), still shows a status of active.
It appears that the items that auctiondepotla1 canceled 6/10 and relisted with the auctiondepotla account have been pulled by eBay.
Also, it appears many (I have not checked them all) of the auctions I reference in past articles have been pulled by eBay, such as the two “Lord of the Rings” props I found at “Big Lots!”:
- “Original LORD OF THE RINGS Movie Film Prop LOTR NR!!” (eBay Item #350063644105)
- “THE LORD OF THE RINGS FILM PROP ORIGINAL BIRD HOUSE” (eBay Item #320243542943)
eBay now reports a search on these items numbers as follows:
Text:
This Listing Is Unavailable
This listing (350063644105) has been removed or is no longer available.
If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it canceled. Note: Listings that have ended more than 90 days ago will no longer appear on eBay.
These listings (one auctiondepotla1, one auctionshopusa) ended April 29th and May 31st – far less than 90 days ago.
