Note: I do not know this eBay member, nascarpitcrew, nor have I been in communication with him or her. Given the Private Listing format that “Auction Depot LA” uses, I do not know to which auction items these negative comments relate. However, it appears that they have done a tremendous amount of business together.
“Auction Shop USA” Feedback Profile Update: More Negative Feedback, Still Private
As an update to the aforementioned “Auction Shop USA” article, it appears that eBay members have left more negative feedback for the auctionshopusa account – jumping from 4 to 8 negative feedback reports in the past two days:
Since the Feedback Profile has been made private, details are not available. “Auction Shop USA” was also, until last week (see “Global Antiques” Memorabilia Listings Pulled From eBay) selling memorabilia certified by “Global Antiques”.
“Auction Depot LA” & “Historic Souvenirs”: Same Listing, Same Photos, Same Item
As reported in recent days (see “Global Antiques” Returns To eBay: “Historic Souvenirs”), a new eBay account was created, “Historic Souvenirs” (historicsourvenirs), which is now selling “original” and “authentic” items with Certificates of Authenticity issued by “Global Antiques”. These new listings match those of “Auction Depot LA” (auctiondepotla1) in style, format, and content.
As of the writing of this article, the new “Historic Souvenirs” selling account offering “Global Antiques” certified pieces has more than 50 auctions active on eBay.
In reviewing these new listings, I immediately recognized one “Historic Souvenirs” item as having been previously sold by “Auction Depot LA” a month ago, in that I found the same style pattern available for sale at T.J. Maxx.
Here is a comparison between the two auctions by the two eBay accounts, which further raise questions about the connection between “Auction Depot LA” and “Historic Souvenirs”:
Auction Depot LA:
Auction Title: ORIGINAL ROSE CHINTZ SAUCER OWNED BY LUCILLE BALL +COA
eBay Item #: 320246778523
Status: Sold in Private Auction May 7, 2008
Price Realized: $15.50
Historic Souvenirs:
Auction Title: ORIGINAL ROSE CHINTZ SAUCER OWNED BY LUCILLE BALL +COA
eBay Item #: 260248781608
Status: Listed in Private Auction June 6, 2008
Price Realized: TBD
Here is a side-by-side archive of the two listings (full, complete):
Here is a side-by-side comparison limited to the marketing sections of the listings:
The photos employed in both auctions are identical, such as this one featuring the hallmark on the dish, with unique marks/damage:
More, if you look at the file properties in both auctions, both have the same filename: 032508dsc09879
Also, both photos are hosted and reside in the same location:

Is “Auction Depot LA” the same company as “Historic Souvenirs”?
How can the exact same item be sold on eBay twice?
“Auction Depot LA” Responds To Negative Feedback

Again, those are responses to the negative feedback left by a customer stating:
ALL PROPS ARE FAKE & UNDER CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION! CAUTION BUYERS! FBI NOTIFIED
