Gremlins Prop Head on eBay: Listed Yet Again

The Gremlins prop head that has been tracked in many of the previous articles above has been relisted on eBay yet again today, by eBay seller “puppetpropfx” (formerly “gizmowarrior“, who had offered the same piece for sale in April – see summary below):

The marketing description:

I’m relisting this auction because the last buyer never paid.This Was sold to me on ebay as a (screen used gremlin prop from the (Snow white movie scene), but just to be safe I’m going to list and sell this as a (replica or a unknown prop) rather then just saying it is infact A original because I have my doubts .Im not 100% sure, so this could be real or it could be a replica. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO TELL ME THIS IS REAL AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO TELL ME THIS FAKE, so I’m not really sure what to list this as …

I’m not sure who made this or where it came from . I was told it came from a hollywood auction, but i’m not going to say that is true.

The prop Or (replica prop) came with a tag and a photo with A prop Id number … that is all I have that came with the item.

If you’re looking for a one of a kind replica or a great version Of the Original, then this would be the item for you!. Since i’m not sure is this gremlin head is real, then I can’t come out and directly say this was ( film used in gremlins), but if you think it is, then feel free to bid .

I’m going to start this auction at a very low price .

This item appears to have been purchased by eBay member “ovie86“.

eBay seller “ovie86” then appears to have listed the same Gremlins Prop head in April as “authentic” and “screen used”:

This auction was ended early, and apparently sold off eBay.

“ovie86” has subsequently had his eBay membership status changed to “Not a registered user”.

Searching the item number on eBay currently returned the following result, less than three weeks later:

The Gremlin prop head resurfaced on eBay again in late April, from “gizmowarrior“, a collector who said he acquired the piece from “ovie86“:

This collector listed the prop in both the “Reproductions” as well as “Original” categories on eBay, and openly questioned its authenticity in the very title of the listing (“…Screen used Prop or Replica Head?”).

This auction listing was ended early on April 24th with the following reason noted:
