Collector Richard DeLong has contacted me asking for help getting in touch with Entertainment Movie Props in regards to an item he has made payments on, so I asked him to post his issue as a “Reader Comment” in the original article (see “eBay’s puttieface & Entertainment Movie Props“; see also “…”votehillary” Update“) about that seller and that I would repost it as a new article in the event someone can assist him.

March 24th, 2008 at 5:28 pm eI put The Bride’s Hero Sword from Kill Bill sold by Entertainment Movie Props on a payment plan, and paid $3,000 to the sword, until I started to think the sword was unauthentic.
So, I stopped making payments, and decided to do some research and I came into contact with the poperty master from the film. When I went back to the website to recover photos of the sword for the property master to identify I discovered the website was down.
I started trying to e-mail them and I found that the e-mail was down as well as the phone. I’ve also tried to reach them by way of their Ebay name, and I have ad no luck getting any replies back from them.
I’m trying to get any contact info on them so I can either authenticate the sword or get my money out of it. Thanks, Richard DeLong
This is the photo and description that was previously on the website:
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC FILM PROPS/SWORDS EVER MADE UMA THURMAN’S (THE BRIDE) HERO SWORD. THIS ONE OF A KIND DISPLAY PIECE WAS USED IN BOTH VOL 1-2. THE SWORD BLADE IS VERY SHARP AS IT WAS NEVER USED IN BLADE TO BLADE CONTACT. FOR COPY REASONS WE WILL NOT GIVE THE SWORDS MEASUREMENTS OUT IN THE DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECT FOR IMAGES AND ALL OTHER QUESTIONS ON THIS AMAZING PIECE. A CENTER PIECE FOR ANY COLLECTION ON EARTH.

I have confirmed that the website, www.EntertainmentMovieProps.com, has changed to a Register.com “Coming Soon…” style template:
Also, per WhoIs, the Administrative Contact for the domain is now “Domain Discreet”.
If anyone can assist Mr. DeLong, his e-mail address is [email protected].
