As noted last week (see “Reported Plans for NBC Studio Auction Event“), these auctions from NBC Universal are now live:
There are two week auctions listed for Heroes, The Office, 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, and Las Vegas:
The previously reported URL – NBC.com/auctions – is active, but redirects the user to – NBC.com/shop/auctions/ – then, once registered and logged in, the bidder is redirected to: nbcauction.auction.seenon.com/
Rather than leveraging eBay, which is common for such endeavors, it appears NBC Universal is partnering in some capacity with SeenOn!.
From the SeenOn! About Us page:

Given the customer service issues with some other Studio Resellers (i.e. It’s a Wrap, Premiere Props), it’s nice to see a different company getting an opportunity to conduct such auctions.
I did register, and am glad to see that they require credit card information as part of the process, which helps to curb false bidding.
The only reference to these auctions benefiting the United Way, as referenced in the original Reuters/Hollywood Reporter article, is this line from the About The NBC Universal Auction Store page:
A portion of the auction’s proceeds will benefit the United Way and its various partner organizations.
It will be interesting to monitor this site and see how it evolves, and whether it is an event or ongoing affair.
