This year’s annual Film & Entertainment sale features a star-studded array of props, costumes, autographed photographs and awards relating to the most important screen icons including Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable and Marlene Dietrich.The centerpiece of the sale is Property from the Estate of Stan Laurel comprising 29 lots highlighted by one of Stan Laurel’s trademark bowler hats.
Following Christie’s record-breaking sale in London, December, 2006, of a black dress made by Givenchy for Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany’s, a hot pink cocktail dress that Audrey wore in the same film is also featured.
